Navpad Oli of Ashwin month will be commencing from September 30, 2014 this year and will continue till October 8, Sharad Poornima. People will observe Ayambil (Amil) and worship nine supreme powers and attributes in these nine days.
They will worship Panch Parameshthi (Arihant, Siddha, Acharya, Upadhyay, Sadhu) and Samyag Darshan, Samyag Gyan, Samyag Charitra and Samyag Tap respectively during these nine days to pay tribute to the supreme God and virtues to purify body, mind and soul. Navpad is also known as Siddhachakra.
Navpad Oli comes twice in a year in Ashwin and in Chaitra (Indian lunar months). Both of the Navpad Oli start from the middle of Hindu festival Navratri.
