Forgiveness day celebration of all Jain communities

All Jain communities together will be celebrating Forgiveness day (Samuhik Kshamapana Divas) on September 22, 2013 at Subodh ground, Rambagh Circle, Jaipur. This is a great step towards Jain unity. Forgiveness day event will be celebrated under the auspices of all Jain ascetics residing in Jaipur for Chaturmas. It is worth noted that Jaipur Jain communities have taken a great step this year for Jain unity under the leadership of Khartar Gachchh Sangh.

Sri Jain Shwetambar Khartar Gachchh Sangh, Jaipur have organized Chaturmas of great orator Jain saints PP Mahopadhyay Lalitprabh - Chandraprabh Sagar Ji Maharaj Sahab at Shivjiram Bhavan, Jaipur. . Digambar Jain Muni Tarunsagar Ji Maharaj had also to observe his Chaturmas in Jaipur. Manak Kala, convener, Tarunsagar Chaturmas Samiti and Jyoti Kothari, Secretary, Khartar Gachchh jointly decided to work for joint Chaturmas. After long discussions and spending time they were successful in their motto. There was a joint lecture series at SMS ground for 43 days between July 21 to September 1 to inspire Jain unity. 

Shwetambar Paryushan was celebrated at Shivjiram Bhavan under the auspices of PP Mahopadhyay Lalitprabh - Chandraprabh Sagar Ji Maharaj between September 2 to 9 and Muni Tarunsagar Ji is observing Das Lakshan Parva, (Digambar Paryushana) at Bhattarak Ji Nasiyan, Jaipur from September 9 till date. 

 Both Shwetambar and Digambar Jain communities will jointly celebrate Forgiveness day (Samuhik Kshamapana /Kshamavani Divas) on 22nd September, 2013. Jain ascetics (Sadhu and Sadhvi) from various Jain communities likes of Khartar Gachchh, Tapa Gachchh, Sthanakvasi, Terapanth and Digambar will join the event and deliver their sermons. The event will be starting at 9 AM and continue till 11.30. Sadharmi Vatsalya (Lunch) will be followed by the program.

All members of Jain communities are cordially invited in the event.
